How are Intro's/Bio's Made?
Hello! If you clicked on this page, you were wondering how the Bios are made in my band introduction posts.
I ask all of the bands that want to do an interview, or just have their bio aka (intro) published on Heavy Vibe to write it themselves. This is because I feel that a band can include a lot more information about themselves when they are not as big. And by that I mean it is not listed on some biography website all of the exact dates and important information. This is why I have them write it, they will be able to include a more personal approach to their band, with more knowledge than me hunting around on social media platforms trying to make up a Bio when I would most likely only make three sentences, while asking the band members to write about themselves they can make a whole post.
I also ask that all bans submitting a Bio, that they add a story or even multiple. This is because when you are working with bands who do not have a lot about them out online, a story is just another way of adding a personal touch that the reader will enjoy, and will also give them a better background of what/what the band is like.
